Dear Brothers & Sisters:

We understand your frustrations with the lack of commitment from the Company on your wage increases. This is to inform you that the Business Managers of System Council U-05 have a meeting scheduled with the Company on Wednesday January 9th to address the following:

Why the Company hasn’t implemented the 3% general wage increase and other shift premiums upon ratification of the contract December 14, 2007.
When the 3% general wage increase & premiums will be implemented.
When the retro-pay will be paid. The Business Managers were told by the Company that the retro-pay would be paid to all members by the middle of January. It is the System Council’s position that if this is not paid by then, the Company will pay interest on the unpaid balances.
Cilco Gloving wage increase will go into effect 1/14/08.

In the meantime, we expect all of you to express your feelings to the Company for not holding up to their commitments.
