Update to Exelon/Clinton Negotations

The present CBA between Exelon and Local 51 has been extended in its entirety by prior agreements of the parties to February 28, 2015.  The Union continues to hold the position that there are three, rather than one CBAs between the parties that are currently extended to February 28, 2015.

There will be no strike by Local 51 and no lockout by ExGen for 45 business days after receipt of a decision rendered in benefits interest arbitration.

In addition, all parties retain their prior position and consistent with the Union's position throughout, IBEW Local 51 does not believe that an extension is necessary.  Nevertheless, the Union agrees to the extension.

Finally, any and all contractual changes negotiated by the parties following interest arbitration will be retroactive to December 15, 2014.
